To show support for Father Frank and the other parishioners who were out trekking the length of the Camino de Santiago in Spain, we organized a number of “Mini-Caminos” in Chicago. These are the chronicles of those epic (mini-)journeys.
First Mini-Camino:
Walking and the Way
Starting at Daley Plaza in downtown Chicago, a group of intrepid parishioners hiked through a cool and windy city, visiting a number of church landmarks along the way.
Afterwards, back in the warmth of St Teresa, they ate pizza, pasta, and salad, and then enjoyed watching an excellent movie about the Camino, called The Way, produced by and starring Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez.
